Los Genoveses Beach
For many beach goers, Los Genoveses is the most beautiful beach in the national park, composed of fine sand and crystal clear waters. Access by car is controlled during the summer. If you want to go by car, you will have to go early.
San Pedro Cove
After walking down a winding path or arriving by boat, you will reach a paradise of turquoise water, fine sand, and a landscape outlined by vegetation and white volcanic rock. San Pedro Cove is a dream place to spend the day.
Agua Amarga Beach
Agua Amarga is one of the most beautiful villages in Cabo de Gata-Níjar National Park. Hidden between two white rock cliffs, we find the oasis of Agua Amarga, a charming village with a very special atmosphere.
You will recognize Mónsul by its magnificent central rock. A wonderful beach that is famous appearing in many movies, commercials, and video clips. Mónsul hass crystal clear water and fine sand dunes.
Las Salinas Beach
With more than 5 km of beachline, Las Salinas is the largest beach in the national park. Las Salinas is named after the surrounding salt flats. Nearby there is a lagoon full of flamingos as well as a beautiful chapel just a few meters from the shoreline.
El Playazo de Rodalquilar
A beach filled with fine, golden sand, transparent water, and natural pools. Close by is the Castle of San Ramon. El Playazo is a real wonder with small coves on one side and the rest filled with fine sand.
La Isleta del Moro Beach
Just at the entrance to the village of La Isleta del Moro, you will discover its wonderful beach with the great Peñón Blanco (white rock), which beach is named after. A few meters away, you will find great bars and restaurants.
Los Escullos Beach
Formed by several coves, Los Escullos is frequently visited by scuba divers due to the large amount of marine life. You should not miss the fossil dune and the beautiful views from the road leading to Isleta del Moro!
Los Muertos Beach
Its deep blue water and pleasant sand make this beach one of the most beautiful in the park. The entrance to the water is somewhat abrupt since it almost covers you after entering, so you have to be careful. Nevertheless, it is an ideal spot to spend the day.
El Plomo Cove
Between Agua Amarga and Fernán Pérez, you will find the entrance to this incredible cove, formed by stones and fine sand, with water of great quality and cleanliness. A perfect beach for snorkeling and enjoying its marine life.
